E-learning program officially launched

Jimma University eLearning program was officially launched, on March 4, 2010. The launch ceremony was held at the senate hall where invited guests from and the respective stake holders from respective schools attended the ceremony.

International Training on Bandwidth Management and Optimization

International Training Workshop on Bandwidth Management and Optimization (BMO) is underway at Jimma University. The training focuses on Managing the limited external bandwidth that universities of developing countries have, using open source software packages. The software tools discussed include squid, dansguardian, and mrtg.
